2025 Deck Rebuild

This is a deck that was rotting and started leaking water to the screened room below. The scope was to demolished the existing deck and aluminum awning, but leave the screened area and aluminum cladding intact. It was quite a challenge. Once we removed the deck we discovered it had no flashing at all and water had damaged the structural components of the home. We repaired the floor framing, then put in 2 layers of flashing before installing a new Dekdrain system that discharges all water to the exterior. Reframed and finished the new deck then repaired and painted the stucco wall around the new deck ledger. This deck will never leak again.
